| On the
magic night of hight school’s end, Julie, Helen, Ray and Barry go into Barry’s
new BMW oblivious to the violent accident that’s waiting for them just beyond the
next twist in the road. No one sees the body that seems to fly out of nowhere directly
into the new car’s grill ; no one knows the identity of the crumpled form that
appears to have stopped breathing, but with the specter of scandal and possible arrest
clouding the bright picture of their futures, on that winding road, in that darknesse,
they make a decision that will change their lives forever. Scared and confused, they
struggle with each other and their consciences over what to do with their victim, knowing
that calling the police, with their alcohol levels up and the car covered in booze, will
undoubtedly lead to a conviction for vehicular manslaughter. There is only one way out of this nightmare and as they push the body off a seaside pier, they think their secret slides into the murky depths with it. They’re wrong. The four friends swear to take their secret to their graves. But that time might come around sooner than they think. A lot sooner ! A year passes. Someone is stalking them. Someone attacking them where they are psychologically most vulnerable. Everywhere they go, he is there. He saw what they did. One by one, he will bring the same terror to them that they brought to the stranger. |
