Just back on Earth, after they have won Mortal Kombat, human fighters gathered by god of thunder and flashes : Rayden, loose their happiness : the sky is tearing appart and dark creatures come from there. Their leader emperor d'Outremond announces them the world had been built within 6 days and will be destroyed the same way, and on the seventh day humanity will rest peacefully !

Victory of Mortal Kombat should have protected humanity for one generation, though. Shao Kahn shouldn't have been able to invade the Earth again : he has cheated anyway Rayden's fighters dispose of a very short time to destroy Shao Kahn and his troups forever.

John R. Leonetti :

John R. Leonetti was grown up in the Seventh Art atmospere. Chief operator on the first "Mortal Kombat", his photography director's still could also be appreciated in films such as "48H de plus", "The Mask" or "Hot Shots !". He has also been working with John Frankenheimer for HBO. John R. Leonetti has participated to several episodes of "Contes de la Crypte" directed by Walter Hill, Tom Hanks, Peter Medak and John Frankenheimer. "Mortal Kombat : the Annihilation" is his first long film as a film maker.
