Benjamin Rocher

Réalisateur et scénariste, reconnu pour son engagement dans le cinéma de genre, Benjamin Rocher se fait remarquer en 2009 avec La Horde, coréalisé avec le critique Yannick Dahan. Ce premier long métrage, mêlant zombies et polar urbain, est sélectionné en compétition au Festival de Gérardmer 2010. Quatre ans plus tard, il signe seul la première partie du diptyque horrifique Goal of the Dead, une comédie combinant football et invasion zombie. En 2015, il dirige Jean Reno et Alban Lenoir dans le film d’action Antigang, qu’il retrouve pour sa suite Antigang : la relève (2023), diffusée sur Disney+. Il réalise et co-créé la série Moah (2020, OCS) et réalise plusieurs épisodes de la série Para//èles (2022, Disney+). Il tourne l’année dernière tous les épisodes de la série inédite Lucky Luke, adaptée de la bande dessinée créée par Morris, disponible au printemps sur Disney+. Alban Lenoir y campe le célèbre cow-boy et donne notamment la réplique à Alice Taglioni, Jérôme Niel et Camille Chamoux.

A director and screenwriter known for his commitment to genre cinema, Benjamin Rocher first gained attention in 2009 with The Horde, co-directed with critic Yannick Dahan. This debut feature, a blend of zombie thriller and urban crime drama, was selected in competition at the 2010 Gérardmer Film Festival. Four years later, he solo directed the first part of the horror diptych Goal of the Dead, a comedy fusing football with a zombie invasion. In 2015, he directed Jean Reno and Alban Lenoir in the action film The Squad, reuniting with them for its sequel The Squad: Home Run (2023), released on Disney+. He directed and co-created the series Moah (2020, OCS) and directed multiple episodes of the series Parallels (2022, Disney+). Last year, he filmed all episodes of the new Lucky Luke series, adapted from the comic created by Morris and available this spring on Disney+, in which Alban Lenoir plays the famous cowboy, starring alongside Alice Taglioni, Jérôme Niel and Camille Chamoux.
