Welcome to Six Mile Hill, a sleepy Irish town whose only claim to fame is the somewhat dubious local legend that Bram Stoker once spent a night in the local pub. It’s home to Eugene Moffat, a young man who fills most of his days drinking pints with his friends and pranking tourists who come to visit the gravesite of Abhartach, a legendary Irish vampire some believe to have inspired ‘Dracula.’ But one night, when this accursed bloodsucker is accidentally awoken by Eugene and his crew, the town will cease to be a boring wasteland and be plunged into a bloody nightmare…

Il débute sa carrière en faisant des courts métrages et travaille comme scénariste sur des films d’animation. Il fonde ensuite Six Mile Hill Productions en 2012, au sein de laquelle il produit plusieurs courts primés ainsi que son premier long métrage en tant que réalisateur, Bad Day for the Cut. Le film est présenté avec succès au Festival de Sundance en 2017. Boys from County Hell est son deuxième long métrage.

He began his career by making short films, and as a screenwriter in animation before moving on to set up Six Mile Hill Productions in 2012. He went on to produce within the company several award-winning short films and direct his debut feature, Bad Day for the Cut, which premiered to great reviews at 2017 Sundance Film Festival. Boys from County Hell is his second film.
