Une jeune femme pénètre dans une très vieille maison funéraire afin de s’enquérir de l’annonce d’emploi affichée à l’extérieur. Elle est accueillie par l’imposant Montgomery Dark, croque-mort de son état. L’entretien d’embauche prend la forme de récits macabres racontés par le taulier, tous plus terrifiants les uns que les autres, pour le grand plaisir de la candidate.

A young woman arrives at a funeral house to answer their help wanted sign and explore the house where the memorial service is being held. Behind a secret door, she met Montgomery Dark, the owner of the morgue, a mysterious old man who will share with her the gruesome stories he has collected over a lifetime in the company of death. 

Comme il est né dans l’étendue sauvage du Maine et a grandi dans le sud profond de la Floride, il est votre homme si vous vous demandez comment (sur)vivre au milieu de nulle part. Il travaille comme graphic designer et réalise plusieurs courts métrages, dont Kirksdale (2007), The Root of the Problem (2012) et The Babysitter Murders (2015), avant de signer son premier long métrage, The Mortuary Collection, une anthologie d’histoires qui font peur.

He was born in the wilderness of Maine and raised in the deep south of Florida, so if you have any questions about living in the sticks, he’s your man. He worked as graphic designer and directed several short films including Kirksdale (2007), The Root of the Problem (2012) and The Babysitter Murders (2015), before making his feature debut The Mortuary Collection, an anthology of horror stories.
