Jessica Murdock est une femme en fuite qui tente désespérément d’échapper aux autorités en traversant la frontière canadienne. Elle est traquée par Elsa Gray, qui n’est ni policière ni agente fédérale, mais plutôt une mercenaire qui a un don pour retrouver les personnes qui tentent de disparaître. Alors que la poursuite se resserre, des corps sont retrouvés sur le chemin de Jessica. La confrontation entre ces deux femmes, en quête de sens et de rédemption, semble inévitable.
SYNOPSIS
Jessica Murdock is a woman on the run, desperate to cross the Canadian border to escape her past. On her tail is Elsa Gray, a resourceful agent. As their chase narrows, holes in Elsa’s investigation begin to fill with fresh bodies. Soon the pursuit spirals toward its confrontation between the two women, in search of meaning and redemption, on the razor’s edge of catastrophe.

Il étudie le journalisme à l’Université d’État de l’Oregon. Il travaille ensuite comme éditeur pour la télévision et le cinéma et signe des articles pour différents média américains et internationaux comme la National Public Radio, « The World », « Marketplace » et PBS. New Life, dont il a écrit le scénario, est son premier long métrage.
He graduated from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism. He has worked as an editor in television and film, with his stories appearing on national and international outlets including National Public Radio, “The World”, “Marketplace” and PBS. New Life is his first feature film as a director and a screenwriter.
