Lucía travaille comme gogo danseuse dans une boîte de nuit. Un soir, elle y vole un sac rempli de drogues de synthèse à la barbe de ses employeurs. Poursuivie par une bande de gros bras, elle trouve refuge dans l’appartement où réside sa sœur Rocío. Mais cet endroit semble cacher une menace beaucoup plus terrible que les hommes qui la cherchent.

Gogo dancer Lucía steals a bag full of synthetic drugs from the nightclub where she works. Pursued by a horde of thugs, she hides out in the apartment of her sister Rocío. The problem is that the place where she has decided to take refuge appears to harbor a threat that’s even more powerful than the men trying to hunt her down.

Jaume Balagueró

Né en 1968 à Lérida, en Espagne, il obtient une maîtrise en sciences de la communication à l’Université de Barcelone. Il acquiert rapidement une reconnaissance internationale, et ce, dès son premier long métrage, La Secte sans nom, qui remporte notamment trois prix à Gérardmer en 2000. Son troisième film, Fragile, obtient plusieurs récompenses au Festival de Gérardmer 2006, dont le Prix du jury, tout comme [REC] en 2008, qu’il coréalise avec Paco Plaza. Il est le président du jury du Festival de Gérardmer l’année suivante.

Born in 1968 in Lleida, Spain, he graduated with a degree in communication sciences at the University of Barcelona. He soon gained worldwide recognition thanks to his feature debut The Nameless which won three awards at Gérardmer in 2000. His third film, Fragile, also won several prizes at Gérardmer in 2006, including the Jury Prize, as well as [REC], a film co-directed with Paco Plaza, in 2008. He was the president of the jury of the Gérardmer Film Festival the following year.
