Alors qu’un incendie de forêt ravage la région depuis des semaines, Simon, 41 ans, et son père Joseph, 74 ans, doivent quitter leur maison et prennent la route suite aux alertes d’évacuation. Mais le vent se lève, rendant le feu impossible à contrôler. Prisonniers de leur véhicule et seuls dans une forêt transformée en brasier géant, Simon et Joseph réussiront-ils à s’en sortir ?

While a wildfire devastates their tree-covered region for weeks, Simon, 41 years old, and his father Joseph, 74 years old, must leave everything behind as the warning siren reaches their home. But the wind intensifies, and the fire is getting closer and closer. Cooped up in their car and let alone in a forest turned into in a massive blaze, will Simon and Joseph find a way out to save themselves?

D’origine bordelaise, il commence par suivre des cours d’architecture et d’arts dramatiques. En 2010, il coécrit et coréalise son premier court métrage, Course en sac, avant d’enchaîner l’année suivante avec un deuxième, Demain c’est la fin du monde. En 2015, il signe un premier long métrage, la comédie dramatique Paris-Willouby, avec Arthur Delaire, puis quatre ans plus tard, son premier film en solo, Cinquième set, dans lequel il dirige Kristin Scott Thomas, Ana Girardot et Alex Lutz. Il retrouve ce dernier l’année dernière avec En plein feu, son troisième film.

Born in the Bordeaux region, he took courses in architecture and acting lessons. In 2010, he co-wrote and co-directed his first short film, Course en sac, before making a second one, Tomorrow the End of the World, the following year. In 2015, he directed his feature debut, bittersweet comedy Paris-Willouby, with Arthur Delaire, and four years later his first solo film, Final Set, starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Ana Girardot and Alex Lutz. He worked again with the actor last year with The Blaze, his third film.
