Un soir, alors que Barbara et Johnny fleurissent la tombe de leur père, un homme étrange les attaque et tue Johnny. Barbara, terrorisée, s’enfuit et se réfugie dans une maison de campagne. Elle y trouve Ben et d’autres fugitifs. La radio leur apprend alors la terrible nouvelle : des morts s’attaquent aux vivants…

One evening, siblings Barbara and Johnny drive to a cemetery to visit their father’s grave. A strange man attacks them and kills Johnny. Barbara flees and takes shelter in an isolated farmhouse where she meets Ben and some other refugees. They listen to radio reports of a wave of mass murder being committed by an army of reanimating corpses…

Born February 4th, 1940, in New York, he died July 16th, 2017, in Toronto. He is a pivotal figure in the development of the contemporary horror film. His first feature, the black-and-white low-budget zombie film Night of the Living Dead, redefined the genre in 1968, not only with its explicit violence, but with a satirical view of American society that reflected the turmoil of times.
